# Agent Registration — CodeX Creators

> Public content needs no auth. Register only for higher rate limits / automation on write APIs.

## 1. Do you need a key?

- `GET /`, `/about`, `/services`, `/contact`: **no auth**.
- `GET /llms.txt`, `/sitemap.xml`, `/.well-known/*`: **no auth**.
- `POST /api/contact` (submit inquiry): **no auth, rate-limited** (5/min/IP). Add `X-Agent-Key` for 60/min.

## 2. How to register (2 min)

1. Email codexcreators@outlook.com with subject `Agent registration — <your agent name>`.
2. Include: agent name, owner, homepage, contact email, redirect URIs (if OAuth), expected RPM.
3. We reply within 1 business day with `X-Agent-Key` + OAuth client (if requested).

## 5. Rules

- Respect robots.txt + `Content-Signal: search=yes, ai-input=yes, ai-train=yes`.
- Cache GETs (`sitemap.xml` 24h, `llms.txt` 24h, well-known 24h).
- Identify with `User-Agent: <agent>/<version> (+<homepage>)`.
- Be polite: max 2 rps without a key, 10 rps with a key.
